Cedar Casting Workshop

Two-Day Workshop | 10 am - 4 pm | $485

No experience necessary.

Join us for a weekend workshop led by casting instructor Cheryl Jacobs and make a stunning Cedar cast ring. 

On day one, students will size and shape a silver band ring, laying the groundwork for the nature cast with Cedar. Throughout the workshop, you'll learn essential techniques including simple soldering, polishing, and the intricacies of casting nature using the lost wax casting method.

 Day two will see students conducting the actual cast, followed by finishing touches and polishing to complete your unique ring.

Materials included: Sterling silver strip for ring band and up to 10gr of silver grain for casting.

Please note: Stairway Studio is not a scent-free environment, however we ask that the use of scented products be limited in order to avoid triggering sensitivities in fellow students when working in close quarters.

Important Information:

• Courses are for students 16+ years old. Younger teens may attend if accompanied by an adult who is also registered. Please reach out to us before signing up.
