Peggy Logan
Peggy is a graduate of the George Brown College Jewelry Arts program. She majored as a goldsmith and specialized in enameling. She continued her formal education at the Langara College, Fine Arts and now has a Visual Arts degree from Emily Carr University.
In Ontario she fulfilled a two-year residency at Habourfront Craft Studios. While in Toronto she combined teaching and working in the Jewellery trade. She returned to Vancouver in 1986 to continue teaching jewellery, primarily for the Vancouver School Board where she taught for twenty-five years.
Peggy has taught for Langara College Continuing Studies, North Island College Continuing Education, Soigne, and Juvelisto. Her classes included jewellery making, enameling and lost wax casting.
In past years Peggy was selected and sold work at Granville Island Public Market, Lonsdale Quay Market, and the Ladner Farmers Market. In Vancouver, Arts off Main still carries her work for sale on an ongoing basis. She has exhibited work in group shows in Toronto, Tokyo, New Orleans, and Vancouver galleries.
More recently, Peggy has moved to Vancouver Island and is in the process of establishing new outlets where her work will be displayed.
