Requirement: Must have completed a Casting Course
This open studio is designed for students who have taken our Casting Course and are ready to work independently with guidance.
Bring your pre-made wax pieces on Friday evening for spruing and investing. Your flask will be kiln-fired overnight and ready for casting on Saturday morning. This session focuses on the casting process — cleanup and finishing of your pieces can be completed at your own studio or during regular Open Bench hours.
Silver is not included, but we have casting grain available for purchase in the studio.
Important Information:
Courses are for students 16+ years old. Younger teens may attend if accompanied by an adult who is also registered. Please reach out to us before signing up.
Please note: Stairway Studio is not a scent-free environment. We kindly ask that the use of scented products be limited to avoid triggering sensitivities in fellow students when working in close quarters.
