Cari Taylor

Born and raised in Victoria, BC, Cari has been making jewellery for more than 25 years.  Cari took the training offered by Judith Hirchzy on and off over 16 years.  Since Judith moved back to Austria, it has been Cari’s dream to establish a similar creative community for silversmiths and artists to gather and collaborate.

Starting in 2020, Cari began teaching small classes from her studio at West Coast Creative spirits in Langford where she continues to teach for the Victoria Lapidary and Mineral Society Members.  Cari is also trained in working with beads and other jewellery forms and is happy to help with most fixes or repurposing old jewellery.

Cari’s ‘We can do anything’ attitude and vast imagination is used to help inspire fellow artists in creating designs and bringing them to reality.

Cari is very excited to become part of the Stairway Studio community.
